An abundance of possibilities for growth

In 1970 Mr Bakker received the first order for Océ, which he produced in a shed behind his house. This was the beginning of Bakker Fijnmetaal. In subsequent years, the company did not procrastinate, but grew into a company of European significance!

Some years later there was both the wish and the necessity to move to other premises. It was decided to remain in Son, the company's home base. In 1975, premises were leased on the Kanaaldijk. Once these also became too small, another move was made in 1990 to a new building at an industrial site, to premises that provided work space of some 1 500 m2. In subsequent years, the company expanded even further. It now has 52 employees, most of which have a technical background. In recent years, investments have been made in machinery and automation, enabling Bakker Fijnmetaal to combine sustained growth with a good base for the future. There is an abundance of possibilities for growth!
